1. Pre-Existing Damage
   Before any service, a visual inspection is performed. MyChemicalDetail and Thomas Truong are not liable for pre-existing scratches, dents, chips, swirl marks, oxidation, clear coat failure, interior wear, broken or brittle components, loose aftermarket parts, or damage hidden under dirt or personal belongings. If a part appears fragile, service may be declined or modified.

2. Stain, Spot, and Odor Removal
   Full removal of stains or odors is not guaranteed. This includes deep stains, set-in odors (smoke, pet urine, vomit, mildew, chemicals), mold smells, and embedded pet hair. Results vary by vehicle condition and may require multiple treatments.

3. Personal Belongings
   Customers must remove all personal belongings. MyChemicalDetail is not responsible for lost, damaged, or misplaced items inside compartments, seats, pockets, consoles, or the trunk.

4. Water, Steam, and Chemical Use
   We are not liable for issues caused by worn seals, existing leaks, faulty wiring, damaged electronics, aftermarket modifications, or reactions to previously applied chemicals. All products used are industry-standard and applied safely.

5. Engine Bay Cleaning
   MyChemicalDetail and Thomas Truong are not responsible for failure of worn or brittle components, exposed wiring issues, malfunctioning sensors, or pre-existing mechanical problems.

6. Paint Condition, Waxing, and Polishing
   We do not guarantee full scratch removal, correction of peeling clear coat, or restoration of heavily oxidized surfaces. All polishing is performed safely within the limits of your vehicle’s paint system.

7. Weather and Mobile Service Conditions
   Mobile appointments may be rescheduled due to rain, extreme heat, high winds, unsafe areas, or lack of space/access.

8. Payment, Deposits, and Cancellations
   Payment is due at service completion. Deposits are non-refundable. Same-day cancellations may incur a cancellation fee.

9. Customer Responsibilities
   Customers must disclose known issues, provide safe workspace access, remove belongings, and understand results vary based on vehicle condition.

10. Agreement to Terms
    By booking or receiving services from MyChemicalDetail, the customer agrees to all terms and releases Thomas Truong and MyChemicalDetail from liability related to pre-existing conditions, reasonable detailing risks, and issues beyond our control.
